Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teachers (CAMT)
A large web site for the Confrence of the Advancement of Mathematics Teahcers, functioning as a gateway for registration and useful information for CAMT.
Creating a web site is more exciting than creating a standard publication because you can constantly update and edit it, but your audience will be less forgiving than they would in any publication. You have one chance to reach them, and they will have less patience than the written word. The web is a living book. For this reason you must know programming, design, and subject matter.
When designing your site keep in mind the audience and purpouse of your site. I try not to add functions without reason, or bury information. Take a look at my work and judge for yourself.
When I worked here, this was a very large site orginizing detailed resorces for and interpratations of the science TEKS for Texas educators. Developed many dynamic features for the website.

When I worked here, I was part of a team that provided 24/7 publication support for the Dell.com website. This reqired direct control over local servers that would then publish to outside servers, and then republish again. Used sophisitcated and propiatary publishing system.

Texas Dep. of Housing and Community Affairs
A very large site providing a first contact for people seeking help or information from the Texas Department of Houseing. Accuracy was very important, and I had to work closely with many people reguarding content.
