Illustrations for Thinkwell’s online biology textbook supplement. Items were used for both animations and movie props for narrated examples. The project needed for large, clear and accurate illustrations.
Created Illustrations for TEXTEAMS and Understanding Elementary Science, along with layout and design work for the Dana Center’s other publications. Also created original artwork for the TEKS Science Toolkit.
Nanno Gamma-Ray Explosions (background work for poster)
While at the Dana Center I illustrated a TEKS poster featuring a stylized photographic plate with gamma rays created during an experiment involving atom smashing.
The Physics Teacher is a peer-reviewed, college professor level publication used by science teachers. My illustrations appeared with two articles in the journal.
Illustration allows for detailed, clean art to that speaks to a user in ways that other art medims, like photography, cannot. Most of my work is education related, but I work on other subjects in both my professional and personal collection.

Ghost Maniquin
Using both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, created a ghostly maniquin figure combining elements from several photos, tracing, and using color shading.
